STEAM Engine Virtual

STEAM Engine Virtual is an online weekly STEM program that can be accessed through a computer at home. During our live classes, students will cover various STEM related topics, and be immersed in critical thinking, engaging and thought provoking discussions and games. Students will have the opportunity to learn how to code and design 3D models on a computer. For some sessions, downloading and installing specific programs is required. Learn more

STEAM Engine Afterschool Program

Registration Deadline for Fall Term (October - December): October 11, 2019

STEAM Engine is a weekly program in which students explore Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics by tackling cool projects, building models and creating prototypes; students learn various concepts in STEM and gain skills of Coding (C++/Arduino) and 3D Printing! The program is offered once a week for 4 or 8 weeks, at selected schools within the Hamilton/Halton regions. To learn more, see our PROGRAM BROCHURE.

STEM Hacks 2020

STEM Hacks is a fun one day hackathon in which middle school students solve a challenge related Science or Engineering. Groups of middle school students are paired with Mentors to come up with an awesome solution that is presented to a panel of judges for a chance to win! Participants also get to attend workshops, build skills (eg. coding), meet STEM professionals and make friends! Learn more

5th Annual Trivia Night

Trivia Night is BACK! We are excited to announce that we will be hosting our 5th annual Trivia Night in which we invite all of our students, parents and community members to participate in Trivia while celebrating the incredible work of our students! This is an opportunity to look back on the year with pride on everything our students have accomplished. At Trivia Night, we give our prizes to students who have taken part in our programs. Join us to play in teams of 4-5 (you can play as a family and invite your friends too) for a chance to win great prizes! This year, Trivia Night will take place VIRTUALLY via WEBEX (link will be sent once you register).
